Best Halloween Memory.. #Blogtober14

This one is super easy. Back in 2008, I left my dad’s birthday party to run over to another one. Yes, my dad’s birthday is on Hallow’s Eve. How cool is that, right?

Well, I normally wouldn’t have left my dad and his guests, but this particular year, I had to. Why? Because of a boy. No, not a boy. THE boy. I had fallen in love with the boy, and needed to spend this one night with him.

I have no evidence on me of the encounter – besides friends who were there. We had a great, albeit quick night. But it started it all. After a great celebration, B. and I sat down to talk, and after an awkward moment where we talked about how we felt, and our status, we decided to make it official.

So, as of 1AM (ish) on November 1st, I started dating THE boy. The one that shook my world. I refuse to put it on Halloween. I can’t stand to share dates. Each one is special. So October 31st is my dad’s bday (and Halloween in America), and the 1st is our bf/gf anniversary. Coming up on 6 years!

No costumes were worn, unless you count a flimsy witches hat on top of jeans and black shirt. So I decided, for your enjoyment, to add some from my Halloween themed party – the only ever Halloween I’ve been to. So of course it’s special to me too.

I’m having an amazing time checking other blogger’s costumes and Halloween stories. So I’d really recommend you to check theirs too!

    • thanks! I love it too. I try really hard to celebrate, and right at 12am we try to pop open a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate (or beer, whichever is closer) :) Thanks for commenting!
