and it happened..

And I did give in, today, after 6 years of proudly avoiding it..

Working at a salon has it perks, one of them being I am in constant contact with the latest hair trends. The disadvantage? Everyone there has a way bigger interest in hair color than I do.

Well, today it happened. They got me in their chair.

After months of them wanting to touch my hair, I  finally decided to let them test out a technique they’ve learnt. It’s called Vining. ( i guess it comes from vines, but who am I to know?) What she told me was that it basically was a ” free handing” highlight, that would look more natural and it would blend in better.

I am deathly afraid of coloring my hair though. Let me tell you. But I gave up. Sorta. I told her that I would only go 1- 1.5 levels down from my root color. So that’s what we did.

If you want any more info on the color let me know. I wish I could’ve taken a photo outside to really catch the full effect, but I didn’t, so I don’t think you can see anything at all. lol That’s so me. And please forgive my duck face, I was talking to my boss.

It does sorta show up in person because even my husband noticed. And liked it (wohoo!)

Now it’s time to go cause I want to get ahead with a drawing I started last night. :)
