my worst fear is.. #blogtober14

I could answer this in a very matter of fact way: insects. If you read my one lovely blog award post, I already said that I’m deathly afraid of bugs. Any bugs – of any shape, form, size.

But this blog is less about humor, and more about honesty. So here it goes.

loneliness{via}

My worst fear is to be left alone. I’m scared of being lonely. I’m scared of not being important in someone’s life. I’m scared that I’m not going to have anybody in my life. I’m scared of how I feel when loneliness hits.

What’s your worse fear?

  1. God, that quote captures it perfectly. I love alone time. I’m very comfortable being alone. But I hate being lonely. I totally get it. xx

    • yeah, it’s two complete different things. It’s funny now that I’m older I get why my mom wanted to spend some days alone ( I do too). In my minds there’s a fine line between being alone and being lonely though.

  2. Oh, yes. I looooove being alone. I’m that weirdo who could probably live alone for a while and I would still be a functional human, buuuut as soon as I felt “alone” or “abandoned” then I would probably fall to pieces. Being alone and being lonely are two very separate things (obviously) and I’m terrified of being lonely too! I’m absolutely terrified that someone is going to find someone else more ‘important’ and that I’ll be pushed to the side ;(

    • Tell me about it. I don’t even love being alone – I need at least my cat. lol But, I can definitely keep myself entertained. I even feel like that with friends – like at one point I may stop being one of them, especially since most of my friends are in Brazil. It’s hard, but it could happen. Let’s just focus on being nice and the rest should fall into place with no one being pushed to the side ;)

      • Oh yes, a cat is always the best company! I think I would always be that crazy cat lady haha. I have those feelings as well because all my friends are moving (and so am I) next year. I just don’t want us to drift apart! Friends forever and all that girly junk hahaha. I agree though – the rest will definitely work out for us :)
